Para młodych rodziców gdzieś na irlandzkiej wsi musi udźwignąć duże brzemię: ich dziecko okazuje się interpłciowe, a decyzję o chirurgicznej korekcie jego narządów mają trzymać w ścisłej tajemnicy. Zbliża się data umówionej wizyty u chirurga: czy będą umieli zawalczyć o dobro swojego dziecka i pokochać je bez względu na wszystko?
